Bay Of Plenty House Values Reasonably Steady

Recent Quotable Value QV Valuations statistics for the three months ending April 2010 show the average sale price in Tauranga dropped slightly to $412,080 from $413,173.

However, the figures also show property values (residential) went up 0.6 per cent during the last 12 months.

These figures would seem to indicate residential property prices in Tauranga are generally holding up quite well without excessive discounting. It is still a buyer’s market with many vendors (sellers) being realistic to market conditions.
