In the Western Bay district the growth in values for the year ended April 2010, including Katikati, Te Puke, and Omokoroa and dropped marginally from 4.7 percent to 4.6 per cent. The average sale price for the period was $384,384.
By comparison, residential property values in neighbouring Rotorua fell 1.2 percent for the year ended April 2010.
